Farm plan for turbine | This is South Wales: "PLANS to site a 112 ft wind turbine on a Pendine farm have been submitted to county planners.
The application, by David Tremellen, of Tremoilet Farm, is for a 55 kilowatt turbine.
The turbine, measuring 34.2 metres from the base to the tip of the blade, would be sited on a grazing field and be used to provide energy for the farm, a report for planners states.
The report states the site has a good wind speed and the Endurance model turbine is expected to generate 194.2 megawatt hours of electricity a year.
The application itself will be considered by county planners at a later date."
