Sports clubs' funds boost | This is South Wales: "Sport Wales's Community Chest grant offers clubs and organisations up to £1,500 of National Lottery funding.
It is designed to encourage more people to be more active and is run locally in partnership between Carmarthenshire Council Sport Development and Sport Wales.
In the latest round, funding was awarded to Pendine and District Bowls Club (£882), Llanwrda Cricket Club (£220), Bancffosfelen Juniors AFC (£917), Carway and District Welfare Association (£1,500), Penyfan Utd Under-9s (£1,100), Felinfoel Cricket Club (£1,130), Ammanford Netball Club (£975), Seaside AFC (£775), New Dock Stars Junior Rugby Club (£1,418), Llangennech Cricket Club (£720), Llandybie RFC (£977) and Clwb Hoci Dinefwr (£978)."
