Gulp, the World’s Largest Animation, Shot on a Smartphone - DesignTAXI.com: "After filming the world’s smallest stop-motion animation, Dot, the same team decided to create the world’s largest stop-motion animation.
Gulp is created by Sumo Science at Aardman Animation Studios, and was shot on a 12-megapixel Nokia N8 smartphone.
Three phones were raised up in a cherry-picker on Pendine Beach, South Wales, UK, to capture the 11,000 square feet area, of the fisherman’s mishaps. Sand sculptures used in the animation were created by Sand In Your Eye sand sculpting team."
